the bottle will sweat
it
is
the humidity of the season
that
keeps
us hostage
in
our own skin
even
with
the trees
slightly
swaying
we
are
holding still
and
silently cheering
a
slow throttle
a
long day
a
hot night
the blood swelling under our eyes
the pulse
weary
enough
to
blur the target- |
