Well it’s finally happened
I don’t understand
A damn thing on TV
I was gellin’ out on a Friday
And surfing like I usually do
Searching for something
I could believe in
Not the usual patriotic
Name your super hero
Theorizing heads
Sham wow
Canteen floss
Mentality
But I could find
Nothing that I
Felt was true
Not even girls in bikini’s
And shoulder pads
Playing tackle
Football on channel
Fifty-eight
Miraculously
My stone of a heart
